use the different techniques to show the development of the stigma behind mental illness and how the outside view has changed vs the reality behind it
take a photo of someone paint on it and scrunch it up then take photo on white background
stitches images together to create a face
IDEAS!!!!
Altering the images physically eg. take pictures of a persons face print it out and paint on it/ cut it up/ sew it back together like a distortion and have them hold it back over their faces or just on a white background then retake the photo
surround it with things that represent mental illness or things that represent them a a person.
the kind of direction I want to take my images:
Black water dripping
stocking over face
if I look at mental illness specifically in women I can use imagery of feminism irony
words over their faces
like animals
